Companies hire web designers that are great with mainstream and flash animation. And there are some that hires them for some other reason. Some designers would ask their visitor to choose between which version they would like. It would only look like you are stopping that buyer to see what you are selling by making them wait. Some tend to make it as FLASHy as possible. Flash is only a tool for delivering animation, video, interfaces, shopping carts, functionality and more. Having long introduction and making no sense. It’s difficult enough to let your prospected customers wait (Why wait, when I can buy it elsewhere). Spend time doing your home page it is said that context is the key for search engine optimization (SEO). Adding more meaningful text content would make search engines index you faster. Never put your customers in a maze. Do not influence or sway them to do things to promote or try something, this would make your customers annoyed. It would be nice to find web designers that really knows what they are doing.
